POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

One year of relevant experience or schooling.

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds; ability to push 100 pounds.

Ability to stack/build pallets up to 7 feet in height.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as electric and manual pallet jacks and hand trucks.

Ability to perform warehousing functions in variable temperature settings (approximately -10 to 115 degrees).

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Under the direction of the appropriate supervisor or manager, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for the following:
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Assembles orders on pallets for shipment.
- Packs single pick items.
- Counts, sorts or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on purchase orders, invoices, and bills of lading.
- Stocks and rotates product on floor, shelves and pallet racks according to identifying information such as item number, slot location and dates.
- Performs periodic and special inventory of stock.
- Operate electric pallet jack in performance of order filling duties when required. On a daily basis, inspect the equipment and report and defects to a supervisor or manager.
- Performs repetitive lifting, pushing and stocking of products.
- Safety, Sanitation, Security. Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.

- Performs other work related duties as assigned.
